New Bethel's Pastor, Dr. Mark T. White, is a native North Carolinian, and has served as Senior Pastor of several churches in North Carolina. He also worked for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina in multiple roles. His professional objective is to live out the calling of God through preaching the gospel and the practice of pastoral ministry. Dr. White is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., D.Min.). His wife, Dianne, a Georgia native, is a graduate of Tift College of Mercer University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have always served as a ministry team.
Zachary was born and raised in Garner, North Carolina, where he grew up at New Bethel. Zachary graduated from the College at Southeastern in 2015 with a B.A. in Christian Studies and Pastoral Ministry. In 2017 he received a research M.A. in Ethics, Theology, and Culture from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In the fall of 2020, he completed a residency program working as a chaplain with WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC, where he now serves as a contract chaplain with the Department of Spiritual Care. Zachary is currently pursuing an M.Div. at Campbell University Divinity School.
